Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam, Ranks 5th Nationwide in Economic Growth for 2025
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Đào Quang Khải, announced that the province is estimated to meet or exceed 10 out of 18 socio-economic targets for the year.

Highlights of Bắc Ninh’s Economy
1. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP)
The province's total GRDP for 2025 (at current prices) is estimated to exceed VND 522.618 trillion, surpassing the set target.
2. Economic Growth Rate
The GRDP growth rate is estimated at 10.27%, closely adhering to the plan set by the Provincial People's Council and the Government. This figure places Bac Ninh:
- 5th nationwide in terms of economic growth.
- 4th in the Red River Delta region.
- One of only six provinces/cities to achieve a double-digit growth rate in 2025.
3. Industrial Sector
Industry continues to affirm its role as the main engine driving the province’s economic growth, showing impressive development strides.
4. Foreign Trade and Investment
- Total export and import turnover is estimated to reach $182 billion, placing Bắc Ninh among the top two localities nationwide.
- Investment attraction is estimated at $18.6 billion in converted capital, with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) reaching $5.5 billion, ranking 3rd nationwide.
5. Budget Revenue
State budget revenue is moving towards sustainability, with sources being effectively tapped. Estimated state budget collection is VND 72.497 billion, equaling 127.6% of the estimate and increasing by 34.7% compared to 2024.
6. Per Capita GRDP
Estimated per capita GRDP for 2025 is $5,852, which is 1.16 times the national average.
These results establish a solid foundation for achieving the socio-economic development goals set for 2026 and subsequent years, reaffirming Bắc Ninh's commitment to becoming a centrally-governed city before 2030.
